CMK Properties Breaks Ground on Sixth Learning Zone Development in Huntsville

Huntsville, AL — On Monday, January 12th CMK Properties announced the groundbreaking of its sixth Learning Zone (TLZ) childcare facility in Huntsville, further expanding access to high-quality early childhood education in one of North Alabama’s fastest-growing communities.

The new ground-up development will be a 13,643-square-foot Learning Zone facility located at the northwest corner of Grandview Boulevard and Zierdt Road. The site is surrounded by established retailers and businesses, backs up to Lady Ann Lake, and sits directly across from Redstone Arsenal, which employs a workforce of approximately 45,500. Construction is expected to be completed in Q4 2026.

This development joins CMK’s growing portfolio of Learning Zone facilities in Huntsville, including the Watercress and Madison locations currently in operation, as well as the Promenade Road, Taylor Road, and Friendship Crossing sites under construction.
